Lazy Day

We slept in today. It was the first time since I arrived. We made Ichigodaifuku (イチゴ大福). We ate it before at Inogashira park. First, you get Strawberry's. Take off the green part. Lightly wrap them in your favourite Anko (餡子) (Use sweet been paste if that exists). Generously wrap those in light coloured, slightly sweetened mochi (餅) (It's translation is 'Rice Cake' but it's more like a rice gum. Make it from rice flour. The instructions should be on the packet.) Dust that with Joushinko (上新粉) (Non glutunous rice flour) just to stop them sticking. Then eat!

Yeah, we made the mistake of using brown sugar to sweaten the mochi so it ended up looking a lot like mud.

Hiromi's parents house is in the country. It's much, much more relaxed out here. So, with so much spare time I decided to fix the laptop Hiroshi gave me. That's right, he gave me a laptop. It just had a power problem. Luckely Hiromi had a toolkit left over from when she studied electronics... (She studied electronics?)

Ah man, daifuku. The food of sweet, sweet kings, I tell you!
Bloody gorgeous stuff.
Anko sounding so similar to Unko is a god damn travesty.

I couldn't even open the laptop.

Laptops are a bitch to open. You need experience and a lot of zen.

The more I discover the more I think Hiromi could be a secret agent or something.
