Sun Rainbow Red Day

Here's a strange phenomena that I've seen three times now. Not so much the rainbow around the sun but on the ground everything was red. I saw it in the snow at Nozawa. I've asked people about it but I haven't found an answer yet.

Later that night, I revisited Shinjuku to take some more night shots from on top of the metropolis building.
