To Tsukinoniwa

I had made the plan to help out at Tsukinoniwa. Masaru is dying from cancer but is still in high spirits. The garden reflects it. I bid to help out by fixing up the front yard.

Sleeping on the train

People sleep on the train. I do too. Usually I make myself comfortable. Here we have a guy who could have chose any other place on the train to sleep, but he sat next to the businessman. I thought it was cute and worth a snap.

Just before Tsukinoniwa

The entrance shrine to Kameyama

I just found out that Kameyama means Turtle Mountain and not God Mountain (Kamiyama). It's famous for making candles. The big company, Sharp makes all of its LCD's here. I think its cause its cheap and easy to ship to Osaka.

Chihoko and Shunsuke

Then I finally arrived at Tsukinoniwa and met Hiromi there but she was on a schedule to catch the bus back home to go to work. I planned to stay here a week or so or until the work was complete. Hiromi would catch up once she gets time off again.

Chihoko and Shunsuke again offered their generous hospitality in letting me stay and cooking. Thanks again guys.
